2) Plan Ahead and Schedule It
- The Truth of the Matter is, we do not take the time for self-care. We just will not find the time for it. Put yourself into your schedule!!! Time Block your schedule for you!!! When you schedule your self-care, it will become easier to fit it into your days.
3) Keep Your Routine Simple
- If you make your routine complicated; It will Be Complicated!!! If you make your routine Simple; It will be Simple!!! It all starts with your Mindset!!! Focus on feeling the practice of self-care and it will help how you implement self-care into your day/lifestyle. Selfcare does not have to be complicated, lengthy, or even cost money.
4) Remain Flexible
- The first step is committing to implementing a self-care routine. The next step is the ability to play around with how you implement this routine. Some days will be easier than others. Things and people will get in the way of what you want to do for yourself. It is an inevitable part of life. Do Not be hard on yourself! Remember each day starts fresh and new. You get to restart and get back to it. Every self-care routine is not perfect! It is what you make of it.
